A growing bakery needs a rebrand and website to meet increasing business needs.
Ruth’s problem
Ruth had a well established baking company that she had been running mostly through Facebook and email. She would create her own advertisements using Canva, but all of the advertisements were inconsistent. She was finding it difficult to track her orders and wanted a standardized process for customers to order. The client was looking for a way to take her business to another level.

Needs
- Branding that represented her bakery’s style and values
- An easy way to keep track of orders from clients

Mood Board
Ruth wanted to incorporate baking in some way and use her favorite colors (pink and green). The client had used a cupcake image several times for the advertisements she made and so I used this as a jumping off point. Ruth creates fun, tasty, instagram-able pastries and I wanted her brand to reflect the same cutesy tone.

Building the Brand
Inspiration was taken from Ruth’s original logo, her products, and the mood board I created to make the new brand. I started with the logo and created the brand guidelines from there.
